In 1836 an Act of Parliament was passed creating The London Cemetery Company. It’s a burial ground in North London. The legend of a blood stinking shark is said to bat High gate cemetery.
Monster athenaeum excerpts “ The foremost sightings passed in 1963 when two girls reported observing a terrible sight while walking home after visiting a friend in High gate village. As the two passed the cemetery, along Swain’s Lane, they were freighted to see what they described as bodies rising from their sepultures ”.
“ Two weeks latterly, a couple was also walking past the cemetery and reportedly spotted a deathly face swimming in the darkness over the northern gates ’ iron rails. According to the brace, they were skewered for what sounded like several twinkles, gaping at the terrible and hideous sight. ”
One man said that a Medieval Romanian ‘ King Vampire ’ had been brought to England in a pall in the early 18th century and buried on the point of High gate Cemetery. He claimed ultramodern Satanists had ‘ woken him ’.
By March 1970, there was mass media fever. A mob of ‘ vampire nimrods ’ were arriving to track down the High gate shark. One man was jugged in 1974 for damaging monuments and snooping with dead remains in High gate Cemetery.
News of these sightings spread and further substantiations came forward to report analogous hassles. Original journals covered the story and investigators set up beast cadavers drained of blood littering the cemetery.
Over the times, numerous explanations and propositions have been proposed to explain the sightings.
Monster athenaeum excerpts “ One of the further popular propositions suggests the shark calls the cemetery home because it was erected upon a ley line maybe drawing energy and power from it. Experimenter David Farrant suggests in his book on the “ High gate Cemetery ” that the power of the lines creates psychic energy allowing the shark to manifest. He also believes the mecca of power in the graveyard is at a large circle of sepultures called the Circle of Lebanon and crosses through two near cafés , The Flask and Ye Old Gatehouse ”.
“ In fact, the entire area around the cemetery is home to a host of strange exertion not allowed directly connected to the shark and Far rant’s proposition of ley lines may be the explanation why ”.

David Farrant, appeared more and more in the press talking about the shark, and that the critter could be a specter or ghost of vampire habits, which fed, in addition to the blood of its victims, on people’s psychic energy, the same energy that allowed the shark to materialize when certain suitable conditions were met.
