SUSSEX Sussex County Cricket Club on Tuesday, blazoned the signing of Pakistan’s Shadab Khan for the wholeness of the forthcoming Vitality Blast 2023.

Taking to Twitter, Sussex blazoned the signing with the Pakistan vice-captain for T20Is.

“ We’re pleased to advertise the signing of Pakistan transnational each- rounder,( Shadab Khan) for the 2023 Vitality Blast, ” wrote Sussex on Twitter.

Shadab, who represented Yorkshire in the last Vitality Blast season, will now be playing for Sussex in the forthcoming edition of the English league.

In a statement released by Sussex, Shadab endured his delight over joining the club and is eager to follow the steps of fabulous Mushtaq Ahmed.

“ I love playing in England. I know Mushtaq Ahmed is a legend at Sussex and it’s an honor to follow in his steps, ” said Shadab.

“ Sussex has a proud history and I hope that my skillset will help the platoon achieve great effects in the blast this time, ” he added.

Sussex Bowling Coach, James Kirtley heaped praise on the Pakistan each- rounder and asserted that Shadab’s addition will bring an experience to the platoon.

“ Shadab will give amazing experience in our middle order, he’s someone who has played each around the world and has endured numerous situations, which can only profit our platoon, ” said Kirtley.

“ He really does give inflexibility to our side as he can score runs and take lattices in pivotal moments, but further than anything differently he’s an educated head that Ravi can go to as captain to look for support when making pivotal in- game opinions.

“ I know that he’ll have a massive impact on our platoon this time. ”
